Community Housing Partnership Boards (CHP’s) have been set up for each district to enable residents to work in partnership with Enfield Housing Services.
The three districts are:-
Edmonton – covering angel & Latymer
Western - covering Town & Southgate
Eastern – covering Highway & Ponders End
Each of three Community Housing Partnerships’ controls small budgets for environmental Improvements; security and Arboriculture Works.
Who’s A Member of C.H.P?
Each Community Housing Partnership Board is made up of 9
Councilors and 9 tenants and leaseholders, including a representative from each of the following:-
Black & Minority Ethnic group
Young Persons Forum
Sheltered Housing Forum
Leaseholder Group.
CHP CONSTITUTION
The Community Housing Partnership’s have a constitution. This is a legal document which sets out the Aims and objectives of the Community Housing Partnership and defines how it will conduct its business.
The constitution demonstrates to member of the public that the Community Housing Partnership is being operated on sound, democratic principles and is accountable.

If issues raised by residents cannot be resolved at the community housing partnership the following options are available:-
Operational decisions to be taken by officers can be referred to the director of community and social services.
Monitoring or performance issues can be referred to the housing scrutiny panel.
Policy reviews or material changes in services delivery can be referred to the cabinet or the relevant cabinet member.
