EREC aims to promote equal opportunities and combat racism. EREC offer help and advice to individuals suffering from racial discrimination and racial harassment. They also negotiate with policy makers and service providers in voluntary and statutory organisations to ensure that the needs of ethnic minority groups are accommodated.

Action for Social Integration (ASI)
Action for Social Integration aim to support, facilitate and promote social, economic and cultural integration of asylum seekers, refugees, black and minority ethnic communities in the United Kingdom society. They provide advice, guidance, information and counseling on employment, training, education, asylum and welfare benefits, and can organize training sessions and outreach work, conduct community research, offer translation and interpreting services, advocacy, lobbying and representation. They can organise community social events, and can also refer to other specialist agencies.
AFTA is a charitable organisation covering London with a particular emphasis on Enfield. The group aims to work with people of African descent to enable them to improve the quality of their lives. They also provide opportunities for education, information for social welfare issues and a range of recreational activities.
The Angolan Women Community Support is a registered charity which provides advice, information and assistance on a range of subjects including: immigration, housing, education, welfare benefits, social services, employment and training for Angolans in London, including refugees and asylum seekers. They provide referrals to specialist agencies, an interpreting and translation service, undertake outreach work Prison, detention centre and hospital visiting. Domiciliary care and food for older people. They also organise a variety of recreational and cultural activities. AWCS Liaise with other organisations on refugee issues and policy development.
The Asian club of Enfield provides a safe environment to meet and gather. Members organise sports activities, barbecues, outdoor trips, drama and cultural and religious events and have access to audio and ICT mixing facilities. It also provides outreach, youth work and careers advice services. There is a homework club for members with access to PCs and the Internet. The club always welcomes volunteers aged 21 and above with specific skills, e.g. arts, sports, education.

Asian Culture and Welfare Centre
The Asian Culture and Welfare Centre is a non-political, non-religious group which does not discriminate against class, color, age or sex. Its main aim is to advise and assist people from ethnic minorities, and also to provide educational facilities, with the group's efforts concentrated on the educational and cultural needs of children. Its aim for the future is to unite all people of ethnic origin by arranging festivals, conferences, meetings and coach trips both home and abroad.

British Afgan Women Society
The British Afghan Women's Society is a charity organisation designed to provide support to Afghan and other refugee women and children who remarkably need support and encouragement in order to be able to integrate into the British Society. The organisation continues to facilitate the effective social and cultural integration of refugees and other migrant women and children as a vulnerable and underrepresented group. Services provided include an information service, outreach work and referrals to other agencies. They have a Saturday school for children and organise swimming lessons and keep fit classes.
